We will build a retaining wall that effectively holds and retains your soil with slopes. There are many types of retaining walls including gravity, piling, cantilever and anchored walls.
Gravity Walls: This type of retaining wall is designed to hold in the soil by the weight of the wall. This can be done by using large rocks or pavers. Gravity walls are typically used for short slopes.
Piling Walls: This type of retaining wall uses long piles (poles) that go inside and outside the soil. The piles hold back the material greatly because they are made of metal or treated lumber.
Cantilever Walls: This type of retaining wall is very similar to the piling walls with the exception of the added strength. This wall incorporates an extended arm back to the slope and increases stabilized pressure.
Anchored Walls: This is the strongest type of retaining wall. An anchor is used to wrap around the wall with a deep base to provide stabilization.
